The Uncle Boo’s Story ….

Catfish Corner is a unique restaurant featuring southern farm – raised catfish, authentic side dishes all accompanied by its’ signature sauce, affectionately called, “Uncle Boo’s World Famous Smartar Sauce”, because of its’ unique taste and variety of uses.

Catfish Corner is a thirty-six year old establishment, offering high quality, high value food and providing a method of preparation second to none. Ed West and Catfish Corner have gained recognition as being the best place to experience the wonderful taste of seafood and southern cooking. That is why in October, 2013 the USA Today featured Catfish Corner at #3 on its Top Ten list of Seafood -Soul Food Restaurants in the United States.

The review was one of many accolades and awards this icon has won for its food and service over the years. Because of this recognition the owner, Ed West, decided “We need to reintroduce Catfish and Southern food for the soul to the world,” and thus the mission began. Ed headed to the hotbed of Southern cuisine, Atlanta, to launch his quest to make Uncle Boo’s Catfish Corner part of the culinary landscape of the US and the world.

Uncle Boo’s Catfish Corner, a restaurant concept specializing in “Southern Food for the Soul.” Uncle Boo’s Catfish Corner was born from a strong tradition of serving a catfish-based menu with sauces that have exploded in popularity.

Uncle Boo’s will be establishing a chain of restaurants and mobile units based on its proven menu of catfish dishes, traditional southern food items and our specialty sauces.The combination of our unique food offerings and specialty sauces offers a unique dining experience that can’t be found anywhere else.
